Trump says rebuilding Ukrainian cities will take 100 years

President-elect Donald Trump believes that it will take 100 years to rebuild Ukrainian cities destroyed by Russia, according to his speech.
In Trump’s view, Russian President Vladimir Putin never planned to invade Ukraine while he was President. He claimed that during his previous term, there were supposedly no wars, while now, the whole world is exploding.
Trump also stated that rebuilding Ukrainian cities will take 100 years.
President-elect said that this rebuilding would take 100 years, and that it would be impossible to restore everything as it was. He said that this should never have happened and added that if he were president, the war would not have occurred.
Reconstruction of Ukraine
Last spring, the World Bank estimated Ukraine's recovery needs after the Russian invasion at $411 billion. This is higher than the previous estimate of $349 billion presented in September 2022. This amount is constantly changing due to the Russian invasion.
Later, it became known that Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni announced the upcoming Ukraine Recovery Conference. It will be held in Rome on July 10-11, 2025.
