US President Donald Trump's Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, will speak at the Munich Security Conference. His speech is scheduled for the evening of February 15, according to the agenda of the Munich Security Conference 2025.

Retired US General Keith Kellogg is scheduled to speak tomorrow, Saturday, from 19:30 to 20:15 Kyiv time.

The theme of the panel discussions is titled "Peace Through Strength: A Plan for Ukraine." The talks will take place at the Town Hall, with the overarching theme being "Global Order, Human Security."

In addition to Kellogg, the discussion on "Peace Through Strength: A Plan for Ukraine" will feature Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha, his Polish and British counterparts Radosław Sikorski and David Lamming, as well as Lithuania’s Minister of National Defense, Dovilė Šakalienė. The session will be moderated by Sarah Kelly.

Keith Kellogg, appointed by Trump as his Special Representative, will attend the Munich Security Conference as part of his European tour, during which he will consult with officials to prepare options for a plan to end Russia's war against Ukraine. These options will later be presented to the US president.

While Kellogg has not yet made specific proposals, he outlined the expected timeline for the new US administration to address the Russia-Ukraine conflict, which is set at 100 days.

Thus, the US special representative suggested that Washington could achieve a ceasefire in Ukraine not in years, but within months. Meanwhile, Trump’s administration has emphasized the need for concessions from both Moscow and Kyiv.

The US has also stated that it is discussing various options for continued assistance to Ukraine and achieving peace. One of the ideas proposed is the continuation of military aid to Ukraine in exchange for its resources, including rare earth metals.

At the same time, contacts between Ukraine and the US continue. Following his participation in the Munich Security Conference, Trump’s special representative will visit Ukraine. The visit is scheduled for February 20.

Munich Security Conference 2025

The 61st Munich Security Conference (MSC) will take place from February 14 to 16, 2025. It is expected to be attended by around 60 heads of state and government, 150 ministers from around the world, as well as leaders of major international organizations.

The main goal of the conference is to promote peace through dialogue, discuss current and future security challenges, develop transatlantic relations, and analyze European and global security. As Le Monde reported, this year's conference is hoped to serve as a stepping stone towards peace in Ukraine.

MSC is organized as a private initiative and is not an official government event, allowing participants to engage in open and informal discussions without the need to adopt binding intergovernmental decisions or final communiqués.

The Ukrainian delegation in Munich will be led by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. MSC Chair Christoph Heusgen expressed expectations that this will facilitate potential contacts with key allies of Ukraine, though he did not rule out that negotiations may likely take place in the conference’s corridors.
