US President Donald Trump met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán at the White House. Meanwhile, it became known that Russian troops suffered their heaviest losses since the start of the war against Ukraine in October.

Orban secures sanctions waiver from Trump for Russian oil and gas imports
US President Donald Trump met with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán at the White House.
The main topic of discussion was Budapest's decision to stop buying Russian oil.
However, as it later became known, Hungary will continue to receive Russian oil through the Druzhba pipeline. The United States made exceptions to the sanctions.
At a press conference following his meeting with US President Donald Trump, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán said that ministerial-level talks had also taken place in Washington, where all issues “important from Hungary’s point of view” were discussed.
He added that Hungary received a full exemption from sanctions for supplies via the TurkStream gas pipeline and the Druzhba oil pipeline.
According to the prime minister, an agreement was also reached in the field of nuclear energy — now the American company Westinghouse will join Hungarian nuclear projects, something that had not happened before.
During the meeting, Trump asked Orbán whether Ukraine could win the war against the Russian regime.
Russia lost the highest number of soldiers in October since start of war - Zelenskyy
Russian forces suffered their heaviest losses in October since the start of the war against Ukraine. Defense Forces troops eliminated more than 25,000 Russian soldiers in a single month, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated at a briefing.
The head of state noted that this large number of Russian losses has been confirmed by video evidence.
"Here we have an exact figure, because all of this comes with video confirmation. This is the highest number of Russian losses in a single month since the start of the full-scale war," he added.

Yesterday, November 6, long-range Defense Intelligence of Ukraine strike drones hit the Sterlitamak Petrochemical Plant (SNHZ), located in Bashkortostan on the territory of Russia.
The plant is one of the key facilities of the Russian petrochemical complex and actively works to meet the needs of Russia's army.
EU bans Russian multi-entry visas over security threats
The European Commission has restricted the issuance of multiple-entry Schengen visas for Russians to EU countries, while existing visas held by Russian citizens will remain valid/
"Russia's weaponization of migration, acts of sabotage on the Member States' territory and on the international waters of the Baltic Sea, causing cyber and industrial espionage threats, and potential misuse of visas for promoting propaganda supporting Russia's war of aggression against Ukraine or engaging in other subversive activities to the detriment of the Union, mean that Russian visa applicants must be scrutinised thoroughly," the European Commission's decision states.
