Russian forces suffered their heaviest losses in October since the start of the war against Ukraine. Defense Forces troops eliminated more than 25,000 Russian soldiers in a single month, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated at a briefing.
The head of state noted that this large number of Russian losses has been confirmed by video evidence.
"Here we have an exact figure, because all of this comes with video confirmation. This is the highest number of Russian losses in a single month since the start of the full-scale war," he added.
Zelenskyy reminded that Ukraine has internal programs under which additional points are awarded for eliminating an enemy with video confirmation.
He also clarified that Russia’s total losses for October may amount to 27,000–28,000 — two to three thousand have not yet been confirmed. According to him, this result was achieved thanks to the increased use of drones on the front line.
Russian losses
Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that yesterday, November 6, Ukrainian soldiers managed to eliminate nearly 1,200 more Russian soldiers.
At the same time, according to the Ukrainian military command, Russia’s total losses since the start of the full-scale invasion may amount to around 1,148,910 soldiers.
As of now, the enemy has concentrated most of its offensive forces around Pokrovsk. Several hundred Russian soldiers are inside the city.
Today, November 7, the 7th Air Assault Corps noted that the Russian forces have reduced their activity in Pokrovsk and are now preparing a new attack on Myrnohrad, which is located nearby.
