Situation on the front line
As of the evening of November 6, more than 160 battles took place on the front line in a single day. More than a third of them occurred in the Pokrovsk direction.
Additionally, over the previous day, from November 5 to 6, Russian forces lost more than 1,100 soldiers in battles against Ukraine.
Ukrainian forces also destroyed 15 artillery systems, 84 vehicles, and 172 operational-tactical UAVs.
It is known that heavy fighting is currently taking place for Pokrovsk, which Moscow planned to capture by February. Ukraine has deployed various Defense Forces units to the city — in addition to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there are fighters from the Special Operations Forces, the National Guard, the Intelligence Directorate, and others in Pokrovsk.
Although Russian forces managed to infiltrate the city in small groups, Pokrovsk still has not surrendered to them.
