Trump launches another attack on Harris, labeling her political views as 'regulatory jihad'
The former US president and Republican Party candidate, Donald Trump, during his speech in York, Pennsylvania, referred to the political views of his Democratic opponent Kamala Harris as a "regulatory jihad." However, the politician did not explain what exactly he meant, reports The Washington Post.
Further in his speech, Trump once again resorted to insults regarding Harris's background. He repeatedly mispronounced the name of the Democratic candidate and then questioned her upbringing and ethnic background.
“I wonder if they knew where she comes from, where she came from, what her ideology is,” said the Republican candidate.
After that, Trump referred to the politician’s father, Donald Harris, as a “Marxist,” trying to hint at views that he suggested his daughter inherited.
The media notes that Trump deliberately tried to reduce all of Harris’s views to his leftist economic perspectives, as the latter had long been involved in science, particularly in issues of international development and the domestic US economy.
Trump’s attacks on Kamala Harris
Since Kamala Harris entered the race, Trump’s campaign representatives began discrediting their opponent, trying to create a negative image of her among American voters.
The Republican candidate continued to resort to overt insults against the current Vice President. He stated that he “has the right” to insult Harris because he does not respect her.
Later, Trump said that he looked much better than his opponent.
