Trump doesn't want Zelenskyy to resign, says US Secretary of Commerce

US President Donald Trump does not want Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to resign after their clash at the White House, stated US Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick in an interview with CNN.
CNN correspondent Pamela Brown asked Lutnick whether Trump wanted Zelenskyy to resign.
"No, he’s not weighing into Ukrainian politics. What he wants is to be a peacemaker," the US Secretary of Commerce replied.
He also added that Trump is "going to exactly consider what to do and how to respond" regarding future steps and the potential cessation of aid to Ukraine.
Lutnick said that Trump "is going to figure out what are the tools that he can use on Russia, and what are the tools that he can use on Ukraine, to get them to the table".
Clash between Trump and Zelenskyy
US President Donald Trump has made scandalous statements about Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In particular, Trump called Zelenskyy a “dictator without elections.”
This happened after the American and Russian delegations met in Saudi Arabia.
At the same time, Zelenskyy and Trump had a dispute last week during their meeting at the White House. Afterward, the US President accused the Ukrainian President of not wanting peace.
