Trump makes a harsh statement with threats to Zelenskyy

US President Donald Trump is dissatisfied that presidential elections are not being held in Ukraine during the war. The US leader called President Volodymyr Zelenskyy a "dictator without elections," Trump wrote this on Truth Social.
"Think of it, a modestly successful comedian, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, talked the United States of America into spending $350 Billion Dollars, to go into a War that couldn’t be won, that never had to start, but a War that he, without the US and 'TRUMP,' will never be able to settle," wrote the US president.
The American leader claims that the US has allegedly spent $200 billion more on aid to Ukraine than Europe. He also argues that Europe's money was "protected by guarantees," while the US "will get nothing back."
According to Trump, Russia's war against Ukraine is "far more important for Europe" than for the US, as the two countries are separated by an ocean.
"On top of this, Zelenskyy admits that half of the money we sent him is 'MISSING.' He refuses to have Elections, is very low in Ukrainian Polls, and the only thing he was good at was playing Biden 'like a fiddle.' A Dictator without Elections, Zelenskyy better move fast or he is not going to have a Country left," the US president wrote.
Trump believes that the US is already successfully negotiating with Russia to end the war, while "Biden never tried, Europe has failed to bring Peace."
"I love Ukraine, but Zelenskyy has done a terrible job, his Country is shattered, and MILLIONS have unnecessarily died – And so it continues," the American leader added.
Trump's attacks
After the meeting between US officials and Russians in Saudi Arabia on February 18, many of Trump's messages closely align with Russian propaganda and the statements of Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin regarding the "illegitimacy" of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
In particular, US President Donald Trump claimed that Zelenskyy's support among Ukrainians is "4%." His controversial remarks also concerned the amount of US aid to Ukraine.
In response, the Ukrainian head of state emphasized that such claims about approval ratings are disinformation spread by Russia. He also promised to request polling platforms in the coming weeks to provide trust ratings for leaders of various countries, including Ukraine.
It is important to note that sociological surveys in Ukraine continue to show a high level of trust in Zelenskyy. According to the latest poll, 57% of Ukrainians trust the president.
