President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that the information about the alleged 4% trust in him among Ukrainians comes from Russia. According to him, these figures are being discussed between the United States and Russia.

Zelenskyy responded to US President Donald Trump's statement that he allegedly has a 4% approval rating among Ukrainian citizens. The Head of State noted that he did not comment on the poll, but reminded that the latest KIIS rating showed that 57% of Ukrainians trust him.

“If someone wants to change me right now, it will not work right now,” the President said.

Zelenskyy added that the information about 4% trust comes from Russia, and it was discussed between representatives of the United States and Russia.

“We understand this and we have evidence that these figures are being discussed between America and Russia. Unfortunately, President Trump, who we have great respect for as a leader of the people, whom we respect very much, lives in a disinformation space,” the President said.

The Head of State emphasized that the number one issue now is not trust ratings, but how Ukraine can defend itself from Russian strikes and the return of prisoners of war.

“I have not heard an answer to my question about increasing the number of Patriots from the United States, although I am constantly raising it,” Zelenskyy added.

Elections in Ukraine

Earlier, US Special Representative for Ukraine and Russia, Keith Kellogg, said that the US wants to hold elections in Ukraine when a truce with Russia is established.

Last week in Munich, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he was ready to talk about elections in Ukraine. However, he believes that Ukrainians do not want elections because martial law will be lifted.

After a meeting between US and Russian representatives in Saudi Arabia, Donald Trump said that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy allegedly has a 4% approval rating. However, according to the latest KIIS rating, 57% of Ukrainians trust Zelenskyy.
