Trump condemns Putin’s brutal missile strikes: ‘He's killing people’

US President Donald Trump responded to Russia’s massive attacks on Ukraine. He expressed dissatisfaction with Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin, reports Sky News.
The American leader said he doesn’t know what happened to Putin. Moreover, Trump stated that Putin is killing people.
“I don't know what the hell happened to Putin. I've known him a long time. I always gotten along with him. But he's sending rockets into cities and killing people, and I don't like it. I don't like what Putin is doing. Not even a little bit. He's killing people. And something happened to this guy, and I don't like it,” said the US president.
Attacks on Ukraine and US reaction
On the night of May 25, the Russian forces launched a combined attack on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities using various types of drones and missiles. The attack caused widespread damage to civilian infrastructure, with casualties and injuries reported.
In the aftermath, officials from various countries began to voice their reactions, but there was silence from the US. Only closer to the evening did Trump's special representative to Ukraine, General Keith Kellogg, issue a response.
“This is Kyiv. The indiscriminate killing of women and children at night in their homes is a clear violation of the 1977 Geneva Peace Protocols designed to protect innocents. These attacks are shameful. Stop the killing. Ceasefire now,” Kellogg wrote, attaching a photo of the capital burning at night.
A bit later, Pastor Mark Burns, who is considered Trump’s spiritual advisor, also condemned Russia’s attacks.
“These assaults not only inflict devastating harm on innocent people but also undermine the fundamental principles of humanity and the rules of armed conflict, which prohibit the targeting of non-combatants,” Burns wrote on the social media platform X.
