Trump claims Harris 'is not having success' in attracting new voters
The former US President and Republican Party candidate, Donald Trump, stated after Kamala Harris's speech at the Democratic National Convention that his opponent cannot boast of any success in her campaign, while he has every reason to speak about his own success, informs CNN.
Trump noted that the most surprising thing about Harris's speech was that she did nothing about the issues she complained about. The Republican candidate added that his opponent did nothing to solve various problems, even though "she could have done it three and a half years ago."
"She’s got four and a half or five months left. She can go there right now and do all of the things, many of the things that she’s talking about and complaining about," said the former US president.
When asked about the actions that Trump and his team will take in response to Harris's success with attracting the youth, Latinos, and the Black population, as evidenced by polls, the Republican replied:
"No, she’s not having success, I’m having success. I’m doing great with the Hispanic voters. I’m doing great with Black men. I’m doing great with women because women want safety," Trump said.
Trump continues his attacks on Harris
With the start of Kamala Harris's US presidential campaign, the former president's team has been trying to create a negative image of the vice president among American voters.
Later, Trump stated that "he is entitled" to insult Harris because he does not respect her. The Republican also believes that he looks much better than his opponent and accused her of so-called "regulatory jihad," although he did not explain what exactly he meant.
In his latest speech to his supporters, Trump called Harris a "comrade" and "the most radical left person ever to run for high political office."
