Three people were killed in Kyiv after a massive overnight strike on November 14, and rescuers are still unable to recover the bodies from the rubble, Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko reported.

"According to preliminary information, three people were killed in the capital. We are clarifying the information, as rescuers are still unable to recover the bodies," Klitschko said.

A total of 26 residents were injured, including two children aged 7 and 10.

Nine people were hospitalized, including a pregnant woman. Others received medical assistance on-site or on an outpatient basis.

Attack on Kyiv

Overnight, Russian forces once again launched a massive attack on Kyiv and the region, using attack drones and various types of missiles. The attack resulted in casualties and many injuries.

In the capital, impacts were recorded on residential buildings in several districts. In the Podilskyi district, a missile struck a high-rise building on the 15th floor; in the Sviatoshynskyi district, at the 7th floor; and in Obolonskyi, apartments on the 7th to 9th floors of a nine-story building caught fire after the strike.

In the Dniprovskyi district, drone fragments damaged a five-story building, causing the lower floors to collapse and fires to break out in two apartments. Rescuers evacuated more than 40 people from the damaged buildings.

The State Emergency Service also released the first photos of the aftermath of the massive attack.

More details on the consequences of the attack can be found in the RBC-Ukraine report.
