Tavria front update: Russian tanks destroyed, over 400 troops eliminated

Over the past day, Ukrainian troops eliminated another 466 Russian occupants in the Tavria direction. The Ukrainian Armed Forces also destroyed 6 tanks, 11 armored personnel carriers, and other enemy equipment, according to the Joint Press Center of the Tavria Defense Forces.
In total, the Russians carried out 24 air strikes in the Tavria direction, fought 56 combat engagements, and made 648 artillery attacks.
In the area of responsibility of the Tavria Operational-Strategic Group of troops in the Avdiivka direction, Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the enemy, who keeps trying to encircle Avdiivka. Ukrainian soldiers are steadfastly holding the line, inflicting significant losses on the enemy.
Thus, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled 30 enemy attacks east of Novobakhmutivka, south of Tonenke, in the areas of Avdiivka and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.
In the Maryinka direction, Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy in the areas of Maryinka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region, where our defenders repelled 14 attacks.
In the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy did not conduct any offensive actions.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 8 enemy attacks in the areas west of Verbove and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.
At the same time, in the Melitopol direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to inflict losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces, depleting the enemy along the entire front line.
Russia's losses
The total losses of the Russian army amounted to 466 people.
In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed 20 pieces of military equipment, including:
- 4 tanks;
- 11 Armored personnel carriers;
- 1 artillery system;
- 4 vehicles.
One ammunition depot was also destroyed. Another 17 units of enemy equipment were damaged.
Situation at the front
At present, the Ukrainian military's offensive is focused on two frontline areas - Bakhmut and Melitopol. The Ukrainian Armed Forces are attacking south of Bakhmut and, according to the General Staff, are conducting an offensive in the Zaporizhzhia region.
Heavy fighting continues near Avdiivka, which the Russians want to surround and capture, in the area of Maryinka and Bakhmut.
Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine have already exceeded 337 thousand soldiers. Over the last day alone, the Ukrainian Armed Forces killed 990 Russians.
