Successes on two fronts - Ukrainian General Staff reports on front situation

Ukrainian soldiers continue offensive operations in the direction of Bakhmut and Melitopol, achieving local successes. Meanwhile, the occupiers are pressing in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, reports the Spokesperson for the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Andrii Kovalov, during a telethon.
In the Zaporizhzhia region, specifically in the direction of Novodanylivka and Novoprokopivka, our troops have been successful. They are consolidating their positions at the frontlines gained. Additionally, defenders are engaging enemy targets with artillery and conducting counter-battery actions.

Moreover, Ukrainian fighters continue offensive actions south of Bakhmut, securing their positions at the gained frontlines.
The Spokesperson added that the enemy's attempts at advancing in the areas of Avdiivka, Marinka, and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region have been unsuccessful.
"The enemy has suffered significant losses in personnel, weaponry, and equipment. They are relocating units and troops and actively deploying reserves," Kovalov noted.

Furthermore, our defenders continue to hold back the Russian forces' advance on the Kupiansk, Lyman, and Bakhmut fronts.
"The enemy's attempts at advancing in the areas of Novoehorivka in the Luhansk region and Vesele in the Donetsk region have been unsuccessful. Heavy fighting continues. There have been 23 combat clashes in one day," the Spokesperson emphasized.
UAF offensive
This summer, our troops intensified their offensive actions in the south and east of Ukraine. Defenders are advancing in the Berdyansk, Melitopol, and Bakhmut directions.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have managed to advance in the Zaporizhzhia region and in the western part of the Donetsk region, liberating over 10 settlements. Recently, our troops entered the settlement of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region and raised the Ukrainian flag there.
