Shipments of grain that Russians removed from temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine were delivered not only to Israel. This concerns countries in Africa and beyond, said Heorhii Tykhyi, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

"Such shipments were delivered to Türkiye, Egypt, Algeria, and some other countries. These are only the cases I can recall from memory that happened earlier," Tykhyi noted.

He added that several vessels are currently transporting the stolen grain. One is heading to Egypt, and another to Algeria.

"Our message is very simple. We see this. We will not leave it without attention. And we will respond, regardless of geographical location, not only regarding Israel. So, we see everything. This will not remain without a proper response," the Foreign Ministry spokesperson emphasized.

Grain scandal

Last week, a vessel with grain that Russians stole from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine arrived at the port of Haifa.

Despite calls from the Ukrainian authorities for Israel not to accept the cargo, it was nevertheless unloaded.

Already this week, a second vessel with stolen Ukrainian grain arrived in Israel.

Ukraine again called on the Israeli authorities not to accept the cargo. At the same time, as reported by Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Andrii Sybiha, Israel's ambassador to Ukraine, Michael Brodsky, was summoned to the ministry.

According to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, against the background of such actions, the Ukrainian authorities began preparing a new package of sanctions.
