Over the past few months, the Russian Federation may have accumulated approximately 120 Kalibr missiles, according to Defense Express.

Referring to data from the Defence Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for November 2023, the agency states that Russia had an accumulated stockpile of 165 Kalibr missiles at that time. Additionally, the production rate could fluctuate between 20 to 35 units per month.

Based on the aforementioned data, it is possible that over the last four months, the adversary has accumulated 80 to 120 missiles. Alternatively, considering the potential overall stockpile of terrorists, it could range from 245 to 285 missiles.

"For comparison, just to illustrate the trend - as of November 2023, Russian aggressors had only 160 air-launched cruise missiles of Kh-101/555/55 types in stock, so here the quantity of air-launched cruise missiles turned out to be slightly less than the number of Kalibr missiles," the agency states.

The agency also says that according to the official report of the Air Force, between March 21 and 31, the Russian army employed 133 air-launched cruise missiles Kh-101/555/55. Due to the depletion of air-launched cruise missile stock, the enemy may "unpack" the stockpile of Kalibrs. However, the Russian army may still rely on the Kh-101 missiles to strike our critical infrastructure.

Russian Kalibr missiles

As spokeswoman for the Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk stated, the Russian terrorists currently face difficulties in delivering and servicing missile launchers that deploy Kalibr missiles because logistics and infrastructure remain in Sevastopol bays. Besides, it is challenging for missile carriers to get to the temporarily occupied Crimea, as the trips are associated with an increased threat of surface drone attacks.

Moreover, the Chief of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense Kyrylo Budanov stated that the Russian fleet has accumulated Kalibr cruise missiles, which can be used against Ukraine. The Russian army has decided to use Kh-101 cruise missiles instead of Kalibrs as they are more efficient.

Furthermore, the head of the Defense Intelligence added that the Russian army may continue to target Ukraine's energy sector.
