US House Speaker Mike Johnson announced the upcoming conclusion of Operation Epic Fury against Iran, BBC reports.
According to Johnson, the war with Iran will end in the near future and "on schedule."
"I think we're wrapping up Operation Epic Fury. That's what I think. And I think it'll be done in short order, and that'll be right on schedule," he said.

On Sunday, March 22, US President Donald Trump said that if Iran did not reopen the blocked Strait of Hormuz, US forces would strike Iranian power plants.
However, on March 23, the US leader said he had ordered his military to pause strikes against Iran.
Later, Trump said that Washington and Tehran were holding talks on ending the war and had already reached important points of agreement. He noted that a peace deal with Iran could be reached within five days or even sooner.
The US President later explained that the United States decided to shift from bombing Iran to negotiations because Tehran had begun to say reasonable things.
Today, March 25, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said the United States had presented Iran with a 15-point peace plan aimed at ending hostilities in the Middle East.
Among the key proposals is placing 440 kilograms of highly enriched uranium stored in Iran under international control. The plan also addresses the Strait of Hormuz, which has effectively been blocked following the start of the US and Israeli military operation.
However, Iran criticized the 15-point US peace plan, calling it "excessive," and put forward its own conditions for ending the war.
