Some military units will undergo reformatting, Ukraine's army chief says
Some units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine will be reorganized. This is related to the ongoing optimization of military organizational structures, according to the Telegram of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi.
The Lieutenant General notes that it concerns structures directly involved in repelling Russia's large-scale armed aggression.
According to him, over the 10 years of the war, temporary bodies of military management and areas of responsibility of military units were formed and changed "according to the operational situation and current challenges."
"At present, organizational measures are being taken," says the military leader.
Syrskyi explains that the main purpose of such measures is to simplify and maximize the quality and efficiency of management.
"Some military units (forces) will be reorganized. Primarily, this concerns the managerial human potential, its competent and rational redistribution," the head commander states.
One of Syrsky's priorities is to establish a rotation process for the personnel of combat brigades.
"In particular, some military units have been involved in repelling Russia's armed aggression from the first days of full-scale invasion," the statement reads.
He also emphasizes the importance of paying more attention to the rest of the soldiers, replenishing arms and equipment, as well as restoring the combat readiness of brigades in general.
"This process has already been launched and will only increase in the future. We are strengthening defense capabilities to continue to destroy the enemy and approach victory," Syrskyi says.
Reshuffles in the Armed Forces
Recently Zelenskyy announced that the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, has carte blanche for personnel reshuffles in the army.
As emphasized by the head of the Armed Forces, his main task is to effectively use the combat capabilities of arms and equipment, as well as to maintain positions and restore lost ground.
In addition, Syrskyi has already announced personnel reshuffles among commanders in certain combat brigades to preserve the lives and health of Ukrainian military personnel.
