Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, responding to a question from an RBC-Ukraine correspondent, stated that Ukraine and its allies were jointly developing a single peace plan, and that no alternative plans proposed by individual countries existed.
"There are a lot of reports in the media right now about supposed alternative plans— as if the US has one, the EU has another, and some countries have their own. I want to state clearly that this is not the case. There are no different plans for us to choose from. And certainly, no one else is choosing for us. There are working discussions about wording, but all partners remain in continuous communication," said Yermak.
The Head of the Office of the President emphasized that, in the end, there will be a single document, jointly developed by Ukraine and its partners, that will take into account Ukraine's interests.
"This is not about competing initiatives. It's about finding synergy — between Ukraine, the EU, the US, and other partners. Of course, the participation of the United States is essential," Yermak said.
"President Zelenskyy and President Trump, as well as European leaders, all agree that any negotiations must begin with a ceasefire along the current line of contact. All partners believe that for diplomats to work effectively, the shelling must stop. We deeply value President Trump's leadership as a peacemaker and believe that he is the one who can help Ukraine achieve a just, lasting, and securely guaranteed peace," he added.
According to him, next Monday, November 3, following the recent meeting of the Coalition of the Willing, a new session will be held online at the level of national security advisers.
"There we will discuss all ideas to synchronize positions and develop further steps," Yermak said.
"The President of Ukraine is in constant contact with all partner country leaders. Our team, including the Presidential Office, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Security and Defense Council, and others, is working closely with their counterparts. I personally speak almost daily with the national security and defense advisers of world leaders. The war is happening here. Ukraine is the one under attack, so the final configuration of the plan outlining the parameters of the peace agreement will be determined by us. That is a matter of justice and common sense,” the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine stressed.
Europe and Ukraine's peace plan
According to insider reports cited by Bloomberg, Ukraine and its European partners are jointly working on a peace initiative that includes twelve key provisions.
The process is expected to be overseen by a specially established peace commission chaired by US President Donald Trump. However, it remains unclear whether this initiative has official backing from Washington.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently confirmed that later this week, advisers from Ukraine and the EU will meet to discuss in detail a framework for ending Russian aggression.
At the same time, RBC-Ukraine's sources say that progress in shaping the final peace plan for Ukraine will largely depend on the outcome of the October 30 talks between Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping.
