Shelling of Kharkiv: Moment of the enemy airstrike appears in video
Russian forces used guided aerial bombs and hybrid ammunition, the Grom-E1 missile bomb, to strike Kharkiv on the evening of October 20. Footage has emerged showing the moment of the enemy attack on the city and the aftermath of the shelling, according to the press service of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to spokesperson Dmytro Chubenko from the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office, there are currently reports of 12 injuries resulting from the enemy attack. The victims suffered from cranio-cerebral injuries, fractures, and acute stress reactions.
He noted that Russian forces launched four aerial munitions toward Kharkiv around 10:00 PM Kyiv time on Sunday. Two of the bombs hit the outskirts, while two flew over the city, impacting the Kyiv and Osnovianskyi districts.
The attacks were carried out using several aircraft, with the strikes on Kharkiv originating from the Belgorod region near the settlement of Tamarovka.
Preliminary information indicates that the Russian army used guided aerial bombs, along with hybrid ammunition combining a bomb and a missile type Grom-E1, similar to the attack on Kharkiv the previous day.
It is also noted that as a result of the Russian airstrikes, several multi-story and private residential buildings, garages, a gas station, private properties, and vehicles were damaged or destroyed.
Airstrike on Kharkiv on October 20
On the evening of October 20, Russian forces carried out airstrikes on Kharkiv using guided aerial bombs. Following the attack, there were reported electricity outages in three districts of the city.
Initially, two injuries were reported, but later the number of wounded rose to nine.
Additionally, it was reported that the Russian strikes targeted residential areas of Kharkiv, with impacts noted in the Osnovyanskyi district near a residential building and the Kyiv district near one of the supermarkets.
