Shahed attack on Odesa: Casualties, damaged buildings and fire reported
In Odesa, as a result of an enemy airstrike using Shahed drones late in the evening on November 9, civilian infrastructure was damaged, and fires broke out. One person was injured due to the attack, reports the Head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
The official stated that the Russian army carried out another mass drone attack on Odesa and its surrounding area on Saturday evening.
"As a result of the attack with strike drones, residential buildings, shops, garages, and cars were damaged in Odesa. Fires broke out in some locations," the head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration reported.
According to preliminary information, one person was injured.
The official also added that all relevant emergency services are working to eliminate the consequences of the enemy's attack.
"Assistance is being provided. Law enforcement is documenting the aftermath of another crime committed by the Russians against the civilian population of the Odesa region," the official said.
Shahed drone strike on Odesa
Earlier, it was reported that late in the evening on November 9, explosions were heard in Odesa amidst a Russian attack using kamikaze drones. Local authorities reported the activation of air defense forces and systems.
Additionally, during the night of November 10, Russian forces launched several groups of Shahed drones from different directions for another airstrike on Ukraine.
During the previous night's Russian strike using Shahed drones on Odesa, one person was killed, and 13 others were injured, including two children.
