On the night of November 9, Russia attacked Odesa. One person was killed, and 13 others were injured, including two children, according to the Odesa regional prosecutor's office and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

On the night of November 9, the Russian armed forces launched a massive drone attack on Odesa and its outskirts.

"As a result of the attack, a local woman was killed, and 13 people were injured, including two boys, aged 4 and 16. Information about other victims is being clarified," the regional prosecutor's office reported.

Consequences of the Russian attack

As a result of the shelling, several high-rise buildings in two residential complexes were damaged, along with private homes, storage facilities of a private enterprise, and civilian vehicles. At least 10 cars were completely destroyed by fire.

According to the State Emergency Service (SES), rescuers and volunteers worked throughout the night to mitigate the effects of the attacks.

"Residential buildings were damaged, dozens of cars were burned, and a fire broke out in a warehouse. SES psychologists assisted 25 people, including one child," the agency reported.

Shelling of Odesa

Explosions were heard in Odesa late in the evening on November 8. Russian occupiers launched kamikaze drones towards the city for another attack.

Later, it was confirmed that the kamikaze drone attack had damaged several high-rise buildings, administrative buildings, and warehouses. At that time, no information had been reported regarding casualties or injuries.
