Several missiles didn't reach targets: Ukraine's Air Force updates overnight air defense results

Ukraine's Air Force has clarified information about Russia's overnight attack on the Odesa region on August 9. Updated data demonstrate that air defenses shot down some of the targets during the massive attack, while three Russian missiles failed to reach their targets, the Ukrainian Air Force reports.
What weaponry Russia used
During the attack on the Odesa region, Russian forces launched 11 missiles of various types, most of which approached their targets along ballistic trajectories. Up to 100 enemy drones of various types were also detected, including jet-powered drones and loitering munitions known as Banderol.
What was shot down
As of 8:00 a.m., air defenses had shot down 72% of the drones, as well as five of six Banderol munitions and one missile. In addition, thanks to active countermeasures, three missiles failed to reach their targets. The locations where they fell are being determined.
Aftermath of attack
Missile and strike drones were recorded hitting nine locations in Odesa city and the surrounding region. Russia continues its attack, using air-launched weapons from the Black Sea. Combat operations are ongoing.
As previously reported, the overnight strike on Odesa destroyed residential buildings. Several buildings were damaged or partially destroyed in two districts of the city, while residents' cars were damaged or destroyed. According to available information, at least six people were injured.
The assault also left parts of Odesa without electricity and water, and electric public transportation has been suspended. In addition, due to the aftermath of the strike, traffic on the Odesa-Reni highway to and from the border with Moldova has been restricted.
