Sevastopol port in flames after drone strike, blasts near airfields and energy facility

In temporarily occupied Sevastopol, a series of explosions rang out on the night of April 18. According to monitoring channels, drones attacked the port and infrastructure facilities, according to OSINT channels.
Attack on Sevastopol
Numerous explosions are heard in the city; Russian air defense was firing intensely from all positions.
Gunfire was recorded in the area of the Sevastopol thermal power plant, and a searchlight was operating from Sapun Mountain. A drone was heard flying over the Leninsky district of the city.

The monitoring channel Exilenova+ published videos showing that the port of Sevastopol is on fire after the attack.
The Russian authorities traditionally claim that the fires were caused by falling debris and that residues of petroleum products are burning.
Strikes on airfields
In addition, a series of explosions is reported near the Saky airfield in Novofedorivka around 01:20. At the Kacha airfield, witnesses heard the launch of signal flares and observed tracer fire from anti-aircraft guns and machine guns.
The day before, Ukraine's Defense Forces struck two oil depots in temporarily occupied Crimea. In Oktiabrske, at least one tank was damaged. In Hlybokyi Yar, five more tanks of various sizes were damaged – some of them completely destroyed.
Ukrainian drones also attacked the PhosAgro chemical plant in Cherepovets. The plant produces raw materials used to manufacture TNT, hexogen, and other components for ammunition.
At the beginning of April, drones of unknown origin attacked the Voronezh region. A fire broke out at the Minudobreniya plant in Rossosh – one of Russia's key chemical plants.
