The news agency showed a satellite image showing the aftermath of the Ukrainian military strike on the base of the main missile and artillery directorate of the Russian troops near the city of Kursk.
On the night of July 31, the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit an artillery depot (military unit 42699).
Ukrainian defenders also struck a warehouse with aviation weapons near the Khalino air base in Kursk. The media speculate that Ukrainian forces may have used modified Neptune anti-ship missiles rather than drones for the attack.

Last week, on July 31, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the Ukrainian Defense Forces had attacked a storage facility for weapons and military equipment of Russian troops near Kursk.
The Ukraine's General Staff emphasized that the Ukrainian Navy in cooperation with other units carried out the attack.
The attack took place a week before the so-called breakthrough of the border in the Kursk region. The Russians complain that Ukrainian forces allegedly crossed the border and occupied several settlements in the Kursk region. In particular, the town of Sudzha, where there is a gas metering station through which Russian gas is transited from Ukraine to Europe.
