Russians with multiple rocket launchers shell Sumy region, woman injured
Russian forces shelled the Sumy region on the evening of October 11. A woman was wounded, reports the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
On October 11, Russian forces conducted 39 artillery attacks on 9 communities in the Sumy region.
"Throughout the day, Russian forces carried out 39 artillery attacks on the border areas and populated areas of the Sumy region, resulting in 286 explosions. The attacks affected the communities of Khotynska, Bilopilska, Krasnopilska, Velyka Pysarivska, Druzhbivska, Znob-Novhorodska, Seredyna-Buda, Esmanska, and Shalyhynska," as reported on the channel.
The most extensive damage occurred in the Bilopilska community, with artillery strikes originating from mortars (30 explosions), AGS grenade launchers (59 explosions), RSZO multiple rocket launchers (8 explosions), and small arms artillery (8 explosions).
In the Druzhbivska community, there were artillery strikes with multiple rocket launchers (21 explosions). One of these attacks resulted in the injury of a woman born in 1955, who has been hospitalized for medical treatment.
The Znob-Novhorodska community endured enemy mortar fire (12 explosions) and artillery shelling (4 explosions).
Within the Khotynska community, a mortar attack (5 explosions) and an aerial assault from a NAR helicopter (6 explosions) were documented.
In the Seredyna-Buda community, there were reports of artillery fire (1 explosion), mortar shelling (18 explosions), and an attack by a kamikaze drone (1 explosion).
The Esmanska community experienced the deployment of 23 mines by Russian forces onto its territory.
The Krasnopilska community was subjected to artillery shelling (28 explosions), mortar attacks (5 explosions), an anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) attack (1 explosion), and grenade launcher fire from an AGS-17 (8 explosions).
Within the Shalyhynska community, there were instances of mortar shelling (9 explosions) and small arms artillery fire (30 explosions).
In the Velyka Pysarivka community, there were recorded grenade launcher attacks with an SPG-9 (5 explosions) and the dropping of explosive objects of the VOG type from drones (4 explosions).
As previously reported, Russian forces shelled a school in the Sumy region, resulting in the tragic loss of a child's life.
Additionally, at the beginning of October, the town of Druzhba came under fire, leading to the injury of a woman.
