The last time missile carriers went on combat duty was on November 29. Since then, there have been no sightings, states the Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of Security and Defense Forces of the South of Ukraine, Natalia Humeniuk

"Russian missile carriers have not been on combat duty for three weeks. The last time we observed them on combat duty was on November 29," stated Humeniuk.

However, she added that Russian missile carriers remain in a state of combat readiness, and the adversary could deploy them at any moment.

"Therefore, it is not advisable to let our guard down," emphasized the spokesperson.

The attacks of Russian forces on Ukraine

On December 18, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using five Shahed drones. Air defense forces reported the elimination of all UAVs within four regions.

On the night of December 17, Ukrainian military reported a missile threat and the passage of drones. Air raid alarms were sounded in some regions of Ukraine. Residents in Kropyvnytskyi reported hearing explosions.

Explosions were also reported in Odesa that same night. Ukrainian defenders warned of the threat of drone attacks in the Odesa region. A man lost his life as a result of an explosion.

On December 16, one of the coordinated drone attacks took place in Ukraine. Occupiers deployed 31 drones from three different directions across Ukraine.
