Russians drop guided aerial bombs on Sumy region: Casualties, child among wounded
On September 13, the Russians dropped guided aerial bombs on Yampil, Sumy region. 2 people were killed, including a 4-year-old child, according to the Sumy Regional Prosecutor's Office.
According to the investigation, at around 9 a.m., the Russian troops dropped 4 guided bombs on the civilian infrastructure of Yampil, Shostka district.
"As a result of the Russian attack, a 60-year-old man who was driving his car through the village was killed, and three civilians, including a child, sought medical assistance," the statement says.
Later it became known that a 54-year-old man who had been wounded died in hospital.
"Thus, as of 11.30 a.m., there are already 2 killed. The wounded child is 4 years old," the agency adds.
In addition, private houses and a pharmacy were damaged.
Russian shelling of Sumy region
The Russian shelling of the Sumy region has increased significantly in recent days. In addition to Yampil, on September 13, the Russians attacked Okhtyrka. A multi-story building, three vehicles, outbuildings, and the premises of a local enterprise were damaged. There were no casualties.
In addition, on the night of September 12, Russians massively attacked Konotop, injuring 14 people. Several strikes were recorded in the town, and the situation with electricity in Konotop was critical immediately after the Russian attack. On September 13, it was reported that one of the victims of the attack on Konotop, a 42-year-old man, died in hospital.
