Russians complain as air defense shoots down drones over schools and homes

Residents of Russia are actively complaining about the actions of their own air defense. Russian military forces are indiscriminate in intercepting Ukrainian drones — they do so even near kindergartens and schools, according to an intercepted conversation released by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine (HUR).
Ukrainian intelligence intercepted a conversation with a resident of Russia's Belgorod region, who complained about the work of Russian air defense. According to her, Ukrainian drones are being shot down directly over a school and a kindergarten.
"In Bilyanka, on the road right near the school, near the kindergarten, they shoot down those drones," she complained.
The woman also confirmed that drone activity in Russian airspace is very high. Russian monitors and government authorities no longer report what is flying or where, do not issue warnings about threats, and do not count the drones.
"They're buzzing. Flying along the highway, flying here and there, but they no longer report where they're flying. Many are flying toward Valuyki," she added.
Ukrainian drones attack Russian territory nightly. Their main targets are Russian logistics and military-industrial facilities involved in the war. On July 31, drones attacked a radio factory in Penza, Russia, which specializes in producing modern communication systems for the Russian Armed Forces.
In addition to Penza, there were also loud explosions in the city of Kotelnikovo in Russia's Volgograd region. A fire broke out after the nighttime UAV attack. Train traffic was halted and gas supply was disrupted.
Recently, drones have carried out a series of strikes on the logistics infrastructure of Russia. In particular, on July 29, railway infrastructure was attacked in the city of Salsk, Rostov region.
