Strike on Russian railway in Rostov region hits army logistics, Ukraine says

In the city of Salsk, Rostov region, the railway infrastructure used by the enemy to supply troops and equipment to Ukraine came under attack overnight on July 29, the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine reports.
"Overnight, the railway and a certain Russian resource base were attacked in the Rostov region, in the city of Salsk. A logistics hub is located there," the Center for Countering Disinformation stated.
The transportation hub was used to transfer resources, fuel, ammunition, and other cargo to the front in the Donetsk region, as well as southward to the temporarily occupied Crimea and Zaporizhzhia region.
"Railways are the arteries of war. Without logistics, the speed of the Russian army's operations on the front slows down," the Center for Countering Disinformation added.

In addition to Salsk, the village of Orlovsky, also located in Russia's Rostov region, came under attack by unknown drones.
