Strikes on enemy logistics
Recently, drones have launched a series of strikes on the logistics infrastructure in Russia. On July 29, railway infrastructure in the town of Salsk, Rostov region, was targeted.
The transport hub was used for transferring resources, fuel, ammunition, and other supplies to the front line in the Donetsk region, as well as southward to the temporarily occupied Crimea and Zaporizhzhia region.
A fire also broke out near the Dvoynaya traction substation, located on the electrified rail line Volgograd-1 – Salsk.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that precise strikes by Ukrainian drones and the daily actions of the Defense Forces are key factors that can bring peace closer.
"Russian military enterprises, Russian logistics, and Russian airports must feel that Russia's war has real consequences for them," Zelenskyy said
