        Russian forces attacked energy facilities in Sumy. As a result of the enemy shelling, a 33-year-old man was injured, according to the Telegram channel of the head of Sumy OVA, Oleg Hryhorov.
"Today the enemy once again targeted the energy facilities of the Sumy community. Russia is trying to put pressure on civilians. We are working on restoration – energy workers, rescuers, and all responsible services are involved," Hryhorov said.
According to him, during the downing of enemy drones, a 33-year-old resident of the community was injured. He was taken to the hospital in moderate condition. Medical personnel are providing the necessary care.
Russian strikes on Sumy
In recent months, Russian forces have intensified strikes on Sumy and surrounding communities. As a result of the shelling, civilian infrastructure, private houses, and apartment buildings have been damaged.
Earlier it was reported that on the night of October 31, in Sumy, an enemy drone hit an apartment building, causing a fire. A minor girl and an elderly woman were injured. They received assistance on site.
According to the head of the OVA, within an hour, Sumy was attacked by 10 Russian drones.
In addition, on October 30, the Russians attacked a gas station in Sumy with a strike drone. There were injuries and damaged vehicles.
Due to the enemy attack, part of Sumy was left without electricity on the morning of Monday, October 27. Emergency power outage schedules were introduced in the region.
Also, on October 26, the Russians struck an apartment building in the Zarichnyi district of Sumy with an Italmas drone. The strike hit the roof of the building directly. A fire broke out, which rescuers quickly extinguished.
