Russian strikes on Sumy
Russian troops continue to attack civilian and critical infrastructure in Sumy and surrounding communities.
On Monday morning, October 27, part of Sumy was left without electricity due to a Russian attack. Emergency power outages were scheduled in the region.
Before that, the regional power company also reported interruptions in the distribution of electricity in part of the city of Sumy and the Sumy district.
In addition, on October 26, a man was killed as a result of a Russian FPV drone attack on a passenger minibus on the Sumy-Bilopillia highway. 13 people were injured, including an 8-year-old boy and a 15-year-old girl.
As a result of the Russian attack, the minibus, which was traveling in the direction of Sumy, burned down completely. Initially, it was reported that there were five passengers and a driver in the minibus, but later the number of people in the bus was clarified.
On the same day, the Russians struck a high-rise building in the Zarichnyi district of Sumy with an Italmas drone. The Russian strike hit the roof of the building directly. As a result, a fire broke out, which was quickly extinguished by rescuers.
