Russian forces targeted a passenger minibus in the Sumy region, destroying the vehicle in a drone strike and causing multiple injuries, reports Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
"A Russian drone hit a minibus on the highway near Mykolaivka rural community. The enemy deliberately targeted passenger transport — directly at people," he wrote.
The attack occurred around 4:50 PM Kyiv time on the Sumy-Bilopillia highway. Preliminary information indicates five passengers and the driver were on board. Five of the six people were injured, including one in critical condition and a minor. The bus was completely destroyed and cannot be restored.

Russian forces continue drone attacks on border regions, with Sumy repeatedly targeted. On Sunday, October 26, a drone struck the roof of a high-rise in Sumy, injuring at least one person.
Earlier, on October 21, Russian forces also attacked Sumy. They used a low-cost Italmas drone. Reports indicate the enemy targeted civilian infrastructure and struck the road surface.
