Two people were reported injured as a result of an enemy tactical aviation strike on Zaporizhzhia on the night of December 24. Photos of the aftermath of the Russian strike were also released, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, on Telegram.

“Two people were injured as a result of the Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia. The injured, a man and a woman, are receiving all necessary assistance,” Fedorov wrote.

The official also shared photos of the consequences of the enemy strike, which occurred shortly after warnings about the potential use of aerial guided bombs in the region.

In the video shared by the head of the Regional Military Administration, showing the building, damaged walls, a balcony, and debris from the facade can be seen scattered on the ground.

Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia on December 24

The Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia and the surrounding region with guided aerial bombs on the night of December 24.

Fedorov initially reported damage to a residential building, but no further details were provided, except that emergency services were working at the site.

Later, it became known that at least three enemy strikes were carried out on the regional center. Fires were reported in garages and vehicles.

Russian forces regularly attack the Zaporizhzhia region with missiles, drones, and KABs. Warnings about threats and calls for citizens to stay in safe locations are regularly posted on the Telegram channel of the head of the Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

Regarding recent Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia, RBC-Ukraine reported that on December 19, the enemy shelled the region, resulting in five injuries, including a child.

A few days prior, the Russians carried out airstrikes on Zaporizhzhia, causing significant damage to a high-rise building and one of the city’s infrastructure facilities.
