Today, June 11, Russians struck a railway depot in Konotop, Sumy region, with a Shahed drone. One railway worker was killed, and four were injured, according to Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, head of Ukrainian Railways.
He says not all employees managed to take cover in time.
"We are facing a heavy enemy strike on Konotop—specifically on the railway depot. The ‘Shaheds’ are likely rocket-propelled, and since they were close to the border, not everyone managed to take cover before the warning. We are analyzing this in detail, second by second," Pertsovskyi reports.
He adds that the injured railway workers are currently in the hospital.
"One of our colleagues was killed during this strike. Four colleagues were injured; our people are with them in the hospital, and all necessary assistance is being provided," he says.

Russian strikes damaged the gas network, and a 42-year-old woman was injured.
Due to the Russian attack, part of the city was left without electricity and a water supply. Local authorities urged residents to stock up on water.
