Russia launched more than 200 drones and Iskander-M ballistic missiles at Ukraine overnight on June 11. While Ukrainian air defenses intercepted most of the incoming targets, some strikes were recorded despite the defense efforts, according to the Ukrainian Air Force.

According to the report, the attack began on the evening of June 10, after 6:00 p.m. As of the morning, it is known that during this period the enemy attacked Ukraine with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles launched from Russia's Belgorod region, as well as 221 attack drones, including Shahed drones (including jet-powered variants), Gerbera, Italmas, and Parodiya decoy drones.

The drones were launched from several directions, namely from Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), as well as from occupied Crimea — Chauda and Hvardiiske.

The Russian air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and unmanned systems units, as well as mobile fire groups of Ukraine's Defense Forces.

Preliminary data as of 7:30 a.m. show that air defenses shot down or suppressed 195 Shaheds, Gerberas, Italmas, and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of the country.

At the same time, missile strikes and 21 drone hits were recorded at nine locations, while falling debris was reported at eight locations.

"The attack is ongoing, and enemy UAVs remain in the airspace. Please follow safety rules," the Air Force added.

Attacks on Ukraine

It became known yesterday evening that Russian forces attacked two cargo vessels flying the flags of Barbados and Panama in the Black Sea while they were traveling through the maritime corridor.

In addition, Russian forces carried out several waves of strikes on the southern part of the Odesa region. Civilian facilities and energy infrastructure came under attack.
