Russia strikes Ukraine's Konotop, leaving city without water and power

Russian troops attacked Konotop in the Sumy region on the night of June 11. The city was left without water and electricity, according to Konotop Mayor Artem Semenikhin.
Russian drone attack on Konotop began around 1 a.m.
At 7 a.m., a strike on the city’s infrastructure was reported, and the gas supply network was damaged. Part of the city is without gas, and residential buildings have been damaged.
Another Russian strike targeted transportation infrastructure.
A woman born in 1984 was injured as a result of the Russian attack. She sustained a shrapnel wound to her leg. She has already received medical assistance; the woman has not been hospitalized and is undergoing outpatient treatment.

Later, the mayor reported that Konotop was left without electricity and water supply as a result of the morning Russian strike.
Water is being supplied on a schedule. Residents are asked to stock up on supplies.
As of 9:34 a.m., according to Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, civilian infrastructure facilities in the Konotop community were hit. A fire broke out at the site of the Russian drone strike.
Preliminary reports indicate that one person was killed and two others were injured.
At 10:17 a.m., the search and rescue operation in Konotop concluded.
The number of casualties from the Russian attack on the city has risen to 4.
Two women and two men are in the hospital. The condition of the injured ranges from moderate to severe.
The injured have significant burns to their hands, legs, heads, and bodies. One man has burns covering 55% of his body.
In addition, the head of the board of Ukrainian Railways, Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, reported that a Russian Shahed drone struck a railway depot in Konotop.
One employee was killed, and 4 others were injured.
Russian attacks on Ukraine
On the night of June 11, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with over 200 drones and launched Iskander-M missiles. Ukrainian air defense forces shot down most of the Russian targets, but some strikes hit their mark.
The Russians attacked two dry cargo ships flying the flags of Barbados and Panama in the Black Sea as they were traveling through the maritime corridor.
In addition, Russians carried out several waves of strikes on the southern part of the Odesa region. Civilian facilities and energy infrastructure were hit by enemy strikes.
Also, yesterday morning, the Russians launched a massive attack on Kharkiv. In one of the districts, a drone struck a high-rise building, and there are casualties.
