As of the morning of July 9, the number of casualties and injuries from yesterday's Russian rocket attack on Kyiv has increased, according to Kyiv City State Administration head Serhii Popko.

According to the updated data, 27 people, including 4 children, were killed in the Russian missile attack in the capital, and 117 were injured.

In addition, according to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, the body of a boy was found during the nighttime rubble removal in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kyiv.

The shelling response is still underway at 3 locations. A total of 377 rescuers and 76 units of SES equipment are engaged at the scene.

Russian rocket attack on Kyiv on July 8

During a large-scale shelling on Monday, July 8, one of the Russian missiles hit the building of the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kyiv. As a result of the attack, 50 doctors of the hospital were wounded.

One of the entrances of a house in the Shevchenkivskyi district of the capital was also destroyed, and several neighboring entrances were seriously damaged.
