Russian forces shelled the city of Novomoskovsk, located near Dnipro, today, June 13th. Two children were reported injured, according to the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak.

"Russians have attacked Novomoskovsk. At the moment, two children are known to be injured," wrote Lysak.

He specified that a 3-year-old girl has explosive trauma, bruises, and scratches. The child has been hospitalized and is in moderate condition.

Another girl, aged 12, is experiencing acute stress reaction. She was not hospitalized.

As a result of the attack, a fire broke out, and nine residential buildings were damaged.

Shelling of Ukraine

Russian troops often target residential areas during their attacks, resulting in the deaths and injuries of innocent Ukrainians.

In particular, yesterday, on June 12, the enemy launched a missile strike on Kryvyi Rih. As a result of the attack, 9 people were killed, and dozens were injured.

Against this background, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on allies to provide Ukrainian defenders with modern air defense systems to protect civilians from Russian missiles.
