Russian strike on Dnipro - Number of wounded rises to 36

On the night of September 20, Russians carried out a massive strike on Dnipro. By evening, the number of injured had risen to 36, with 8 of them hospitalized, Serhii Lysak, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, reports.
“As of now, 36 people are injured. Eight remain in the hospital. The others are under outpatient care,” the statement says.
Lysak clarified that emergency workers had extinguished the fires. In addition, after inspection, it was decided to temporarily evacuate residents of the apartment block most affected by the Russian shelling.
“That’s about a hundred residents. Everyone was offered temporary housing, but no requests were made. People will stay with relatives,” the Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration noted.
Lysak also added that in addition to apartment buildings and private houses, several schools and kindergartens, buildings and dormitories of two vocational schools, and other infrastructure were smashed in Dnipro due to the enemy’s attack.
Nighttime mass attack on Ukraine
On the night of September 20, Russians launched 579 drones and 40 missiles, including ballistic ones, at Ukraine. Air defense forces intercepted most of the targets, but some strikes hit.
In particular, Russians repeatedly attempted to attack Dnipro with drones at night, and in the morning, the enemy struck the city with cruise missiles. Mayor Borys Filatov reported that a missile hit a residential multi-story building. In addition to the injured, one person was killed in Dnipro.
Moreover, the enemy carried out a combined strike on Mykolaiv, using both drones and ballistic missiles.
Kyiv region also came under attack, with damage recorded in three districts.
