Power outages in Ukraine
Since the beginning of autumn, Russia has intensified large-scale strikes on Ukraine's energy facilities. Due to the difficult situation in the energy system caused by enemy attacks, hourly power outages have been introduced across Ukraine.
The outages became stricter after a massive Russian strike on energy infrastructure on the night of November 8. The occupiers used drones and Kinzhal and Kalibr missiles.
Centrenergo reported that this strike was the most massive since the full-scale war began. Zmiivska and Trypilska TPPs completely stopped generating electricity.
Today, November 15, due to massive attacks by Russian forces on energy infrastructure in several regions of Ukraine, power supply restrictions have been introduced.
In Ukraine, the following restrictions apply:
-
From 00:00 to 23:59, household consumers will follow hourly power outage schedules ranging from 1.5 to 3.5 cycles;
-
From 00:00 to 23:59, industry will follow power limitation schedules.
