Russian Starlink access cut off, only verified terminals remain online

Starlink, which has been added to the white list, is operational, while the terminals of the Russian troops have already been blocked, according to Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.

He stresses that the verification of Starlink terminals is ongoing, and the first batch added to the whitelist is already working.
"Currently, the whitelists are updated once a day. If you have submitted your terminal for registration but it is not working yet, you should wait. This is a very large-scale process that takes time. At the same time, we are already working to ensure that data is verified in real time," he says in his statement.
Fedorov notes that civilians need to verify their Starlink through the Administrative Services Center. The Minister adds that a similar service will soon be available for legal entities on the Diia portal.
Background
The Russians were increasingly using drones with Starlink in an attempt to bypass the Ukrainian air defense system. Soon after, the Defense Minister of Ukraine announced that Ukraine was introducing a whitelist mode.
The initiative will be implemented by the Ministry of Defense in cooperation with SpaceX. For security reasons, the terminals will operate in stationary mode and with speed restrictions when in motion.
The Ministry warned that regular Starlink users in Ukraine will still be able to use the service without restrictions, but only after passing verification.
The Ukrainian military must promptly verify Starlink terminals used for defense purposes so that they continue to operate after being blocked.
