In Kyiv, the number of victims of the nighttime combined Russian strike has increased. It is also known that two people were killed, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

"As a result of the enemy’s nighttime attack, 13 people were injured in the capital. Among them are four children. Currently, four adults and three children have been hospitalized. Others are receiving outpatient care," Klitschko said.

According to the mayor, two people were killed in the city as a result of the Russian attack.

It is reported that as of 09:35 a.m., there are already 18 confirmed wounded Kyiv residents, including four children, as a result of the Russian strike.

Massive shelling of Ukraine on October 22

On the night of October 22, Russian forces attacked Ukraine with missiles and strike drones. The capital was among the targets. Damage has been recorded in several districts of Kyiv.

Russian forces also attacked the Kyiv region overnight. The strike caused deaths and injuries, and private houses and infrastructure were damaged. Among the victims were a young woman, a six-month-old baby, and a twelve-year-old girl.

In addition, in the Brovary district, a man born in 1987 was fatally injured by shrapnel.

In Zaporizhzhia, more than ten people were injured after the nighttime Russian attack. Rescue workers evacuated residents from dangerous areas. The Regional Military Administration reported that nearly 2,000 people were left without electricity due to the attack.

The Russian army also attacked Izmail, Odesa region. As a result of the strike, energy and port infrastructure was damaged.

In the Poltava region, facilities of the oil and gas industry were damaged during the nighttime attack on October 22.
