In Zaporizhzhia, the number of victims of the Russian attack on the night of October 22 has increased, according to the head of the Zaporizhzhia regional military administration, Ivan Fedorov, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

The number of victims who sought medical assistance rose to 13 people.

9 people were injured as a result of Russian drone strikes on the regional center, and the number of victims is being clarified.

Rescuers also reported:

  • Balconies on four floors of a residential building (100 square meters) were on fire
  • Four balconies in a five-story building (60 square meters) caught fire
  • Fire on the roof of a multi-story building was extinguished.

Rescuers evacuated residents from dangerous areas.

Almost 2,000 people were left without electricity due to the nighttime Russian attack.

"Work to eliminate the consequences will begin as soon as the security situation allows," he assures.

Russian attack on Zaporizhzhia

On the night of October 22, the Russians launched 9 preliminary strikes with Shahed drones on the city of Zaporizhzhia.

In one of the districts, a high-rise building and private houses caught fire.

"They targeted infrastructure," said Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional military administration.

Five women aged 21 to 62 were injured in the Russian attacks. They suffered shrapnel wounds and carbon monoxide poisoning.

"Everyone is receiving the necessary medical care," Fedorov says.
