Russia massively strikes Ukraine's energy sector overnight: Gas facilities in Myrhorod hit

In the Poltava region, following Russian attacks on the night of October 22, oil and gas industry facilities were damaged, according to the head of the Poltava regional military administration, Volodymyr Kohut, and the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine.
Direct hits and falling debris damaged oil and gas industry facilities in the Myrhorod district.
"Fortunately, there were no casualties. Stay in shelters until the air raid alert is over!" Kohut says.
Last night, an air raid alert was declared in the Myrhorod, Lubny, and Kremenchuk districts.
The Ukrainian Air Force also warned of a high-speed Russian missile heading towards Kremenchuk from the east.
Throughout the night, Russia carried out strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. Russian massive attack continues, says Ukrainian Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk.
"As soon as security conditions allow, energy workers will begin to assess the consequences of the Russian attack and carry out restoration work," she assures.
Russian attack on Ukraine on night of October 22
On the night of October 22, Ukraine suffered a massive Russian attack.
Starting at 5 a.m., Russia launched a massive drone attack on Kyiv. Currently, the consequences are being recorded in at least four districts: Dniprovskyi, Darnytskyi, Desnianskyi, and Pecherskyi. In the first three districts, people called for medical assistance. As of 7:30 a.m. Kyiv time, 2 people are known to have been killed by Russia in Kyiv.
In Zaporizhzhia, over 10 people were injured after a Russian night attack. Rescuers evacuated residents from dangerous areas.
The regional military administration also reports that nearly 2,000 people were left without electricity due to the nighttime Russian attack.
Russia also attacked Izmail in the Odesa region. As a result of the Russian strikes, damage to energy and port infrastructure has been reported.
