Three people have been reported dead as a result of the Russian missile attack on Kyiv. The number of injured has also increased, according to the Kyiv City Military Administration.

As of 10:53 a.m., the Kyiv City Military Administration reported that 3 people were killed and 14 wounded in the missile strike on the capital, but later the number of victims increased again.

As of 11:22 a.m., the following are known:

  • 3 dead;
  • 21 injured.

State Emergency Service's statements

All three victims were unblocked from the rubble of their apartments in Holosiivskyi district.

A total of 52 people were evacuated and 8 more were rescued. The work is ongoing.

The death toll has risen again

"The body of the 4th dead person in a high-rise building in the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv has been unblocked from the rubble," the State Emergency Service writes.

According to the mayor of Kyiv, 32 people were injured in the Holosiivskyi district and 3 more in the Dniprovskyi district as a result of the Russian rocket attack on Ukraine.

Russian massive shelling of Ukraine

Today, on February 7, Russians carried out several strikes on the territory of Ukraine, using attack UAVs, cruise, ballistic, and anti-aircraft guided missiles. A total of 64 air attack weapons were used, including:

  • 20 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs;
  • 29 Kh-101/Kh-555/Kh-55 cruise missiles from 10 Tu-95MS aircraft;
  • 4 Kh-22 cruise missiles from Tu-22M3 bombers;
  • 3 Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles;
  • 3 Iskander-M ballistic missiles;
  • 5 S-300 anti-aircraft guided missiles;

In total, Ukrainian air defense destroyed 44 air targets. Anti-aircraft missile troops, fighter aircraft of the Ukrainian Air Force, units of mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and electronic warfare systems were used to defend the country.

According to Yurii Ihnat, a spokesperson for the Ukrainian Air Force, the missiles were maneuvering in the western regions of Ukraine, including the Polish border.

Russian missile attack on Kyiv

Russia also attacked the capital of Ukraine. A high-rise building caught fire in the Holosiivskyi district, and power grids were damaged on the left bank.
