As a result of a missile strike on Kharkiv, nearly 120 people were injured. Among the wounded are children and elderly people, the Head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reports.

Due to the missile attack on Kharkiv, more than fifty residential buildings and over 30 vehicles were damaged. Specialized services promptly eliminated the main consequences of the enemy strike.

According to Oleh Syniehubov, one person was killed, and nearly 120 more were injured. Most of the injured received assistance on the spot or sought outpatient medical care. Seventeen people were hospitalized, among them three children.

Three patients were in serious condition.

Within a day after the shelling, another five people sought medical help, including two children. As of this morning, 18 injured people remain in Kharkiv hospitals.

Among them are four children: a five-year-old boy, a 12-year-old girl, and a 15-year-old girl - in moderately serious condition, and another 9-year-old child - in satisfactory condition, being prepared for discharge.

Also, among the adults, two patients remain in serious condition, two elderly people are in moderately serious condition, and ten are in satisfactory condition.

Doctors are providing round-the-clock assistance to the injured and fighting for the lives of Kharkiv residents.

Strike on Kharkiv on Good Friday

Russian occupiers shelled Kharkiv with ballistic missiles yesterday morning, April 18.

The missiles struck a residential neighborhood of the city in the Osnovianskyi district, causing a large number of civilian casualties, including children. Earlier, reports indicated that 103 people were injured.

According to the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Russian forces struck Kharkiv with Iskander cruise missiles.

Recently, the Russians have increasingly used ballistic missiles for strikes on peaceful cities. The enemy is also using cluster warheads, which leads to a large number of casualties and injuries among the civilian population.

Earlier, on April 13, Russian occupiers attacked Sumy with two ballistic missiles. Thirty-five people were killed.
