Russian missiles struck residential areas in Ukraine's Odesa region on July 14, killing one person and injuring another, according to a statement from the Odesa Regional Prosecutor's Office on Telegram.

Russian missile kills woman

Russian forces launched two missiles at Odesa district on the afternoon of July 14.

"A 69-year-old woman was killed at the scene of the enemy attack. A 44-year-old man was also injured and hospitalized with shrapnel wounds," the prosecutor's office said.

The attack caused significant damage:

  • Two residential houses were destroyed;
  • Windows were blown out;
  • Roofs, facades, and fences of three other private homes were damaged.

Law enforcement officers are documenting the attack as a potential war crime.

Previous strikes on the Odesa region

On the evening of July 12, Russian attack drones targeted the Odesa region, hitting a residential building and a commercial facility.

On the morning of July 11, Russia launched a missile strike on Odesa, killing two people and injuring another man.

A day earlier, on July 10, Russian forces again attacked the Odesa region with cruise missiles. Fires broke out in the port area, and one person was killed.

On July 8, Russian forces struck Odesa with two ballistic missiles. Four people were killed and six others were injured.
