Attack on Ukraine on August 6

During the night of August 6, Russia launched 45 drones at Ukraine from three directions. Air defense forces neutralized most of the targets, but there were also direct hits.

In particular, the Russian army carried out drone strikes on the Izmail district of Odesa region. Gas infrastructure facilities were hit, causing a fire that was visible from Romania.

The fire completely destroyed production equipment. Due to damage to the main gas pipeline, 2,500 customers were temporarily disconnected.

Also, this morning, Russian forces launched at least four strikes on a recreational facility in the Zaporizhzhia district. Preliminary reports indicate that Russian forces used FABs (high-explosive aerial bombs).

It is known that two people were killed and another 12 were injured. Among the wounded are four children.

In addition, in the evening, Russian forces shelled a State Emergency Service vehicle with artillery. As a result of the attack, one rescuer and two civilians were killed.
